Honestly (I really mean it):

I never imagined they'd do that with MAUI, especially since Versluis and Montemagno were so hyped about the changes for .NET 10. <Now I’ve got 50GB left in my IDE just to code some Excel Workbooks.>

It’s a bummer, because I really liked MAUI for Android, even more than Avalonia and UNO (those leave a lot to be desired on mobile).

I’m still a bit uneasy after hearing the news about the typescript-go project. .NET/C# has always brought me more joy than any other language—even though I’ve been dabbling in Go, nothing replaces .NET in my heart. It’s concerning to see Microsoft resorting to layoffs and sunsetting beloved projects.
